Your AI should run on a machine that is yours.
Almost all business AI is rented. Your data, your workflows and your record of what happened all sit on someone else’s hardware, under terms they can change without asking you.
We built the other kind. One program, on one machine, in your building. Nothing is co-located and nothing trains on your data. If you switch us off tomorrow, every system you had yesterday still runs exactly as it did before, because we never asked you to move any of them.
We watched this happen, up close.
Mindfront’s mission became clear the day we watched a Head of Sales, a tough and experienced leader, break down in tears over a multi-year ERP implementation.
Not for herself. But out of sheer frustration for her team.
Their morale had been cratered by the expensive new system. A tool meant to empower them had become a digital prison, crushing their productivity and spirit. As their leader, she felt the weight of every person’s pain.
That is the quiet, soul-crushing reality in so many businesses. Systems that don’t talk. Broken promises from vendors. And now, the age of AI threatens to concentrate that power even further.
Unless we build an alternative…
What we bet on.
The day ChatGPT dropped, the world changed. Mindfront’s founder, who had just walked away from a “dream job” in Silicon Valley, saw the writing on the wall. This was the new battlefield.
We didn’t start with a product. We started by asking every potential customer what they needed. The answer was universal: connect AI to their existing systems.
The market’s answer is a flood of narrow, point solutions: a little AI inside each tool you already pay for. Our thesis was, and is, that this is a dead end. A question worth asking crosses four systems, so an AI that can only see one of them cannot answer it.
So we made a bet nobody would have funded. We built wide: one system that connects to everything, rather than one more tool with AI bolted on. We paid for it ourselves, because no VC would have written the cheque. It took three years. It works, and it has been live with customers since 2023.
What we hold to.
- Systems Stay Put
- One Brain
- One AI, One License
- Human Oversight
Three years of first-principles engineering, written as one program rather than a stack of other companies’ services, for one purpose: to do the three things above. It has been in continuous production since 2023.
The thing the giants cannot sell you.
The big platforms are built on walled gardens. They ask you to choose a side.
But your business doesn’t live in one silo. It is a pragmatic mix of systems, from Microsoft and Google and Salesforce down to a PHP script somebody wrote in 2011, and whatever gets the job done stays.
Mindfront ensures they talk to each other.
Mindfront was built on a different principle: connect to everything. One system that reads across the whole stack you actually have, not the one a vendor wishes you had. That is not a feature we added. It is the reason the giants cannot follow.
